Bad rings?

alright my 95 RS is making me worried once again. I just started it and I noticed a cloud of bluish smoke come from my exuast and it smelled liek burning oil. I noticed a little oil on the #3 cylinder spark plug and a lot of oil on the #4 cylinder spark plug. Does this sound like something to do with the rings? I also have noticed a loud knock under the valve cover as well, if that has anything to do with it. please help

It could be your rings and/or valves. Do a compression check. Also check your valve cover, PCV valve, injector seals, and intake manifold for signs of excessive oil leaks/ingestion.

the best thing to do is a compression test. that will tell you if your rings are bad

i also had a ? about my piston rings. i did a compresion check and the #4 cyl. was at 150, #3 was at 143, #2 was at 153 and #1 was at 150. i added oil in them and they all went to 170 and 175. so i'm almost sure that i need rings, but i'm also getting coolant in my oil and oil is running out of my exhuast. so would this be both hg and rings or just hg. also i have 2g pistons in my 1g, what should the compresion be with these. thanks for any replies

I think I have found the knock to be a overly worn lobe on the intake cam

Head gasket. As your engine wear in you will get a drop in compression. as long as they are pretty similar across the board you should be fine. (150's sound pretty good) coolant in the oil is tell tail of head gasket failior.
