Okay so after changing my sending unit to fix my o-ring that was totally F'd up I am having the problems I had before but have checked some more things out. I am getting spark in all cylinders but #2 and #3 didn't seem to be sparking as much as #1 and #4. I checked my fuel pressure and was jumping all over around 15-25. I tried adjusting the screw all the way in and all the way out and there was not one change in it whatsoever. It was just working properly the other day so my guess is the AFPR is not faulty. I can't figure out where my problem lies. Is my pump faulty, injectors? I am completely lost. Could be fuel filter be clogged up even though its only about 3 months old with less than a thousand miles on it.

I've had this problem ever since I got the car running again. The main thing is that whenever I go into heavy load in 3rd, 4th or 5th my car starts to break up and then if I go back to first or 2nd gear and go into heavy load it will break up then but it will not do so if I don't go into heavy load. I can boost fine in first and second unless I go into heavy load in 3rd, 4th or 5th then I can't at all.

If I turn my car off for like 5 seconds and start it back up everything will be fine but if I keep trying to drive it after a 3rd gear heavy load it will be breaking up like a major boost leak which I don't have any at all. I have not touched the timing at all.

I just got some Bosch plug wires with no change to the break up problem. Regapped plugs to .028 even though they were still pretty close to that. Tested the injectors to make sure they were working at idle and when I pulled the clips it ran worse which obviously indicates they are functioning. Fuel pressure was 43.5ish with vacuum off at idle. Throttle response is a lot better with the new wires like it normally would but my throtpos only goes to 70% now at WOT and I did try to adjust the throttle cable. I guess I have to tinker with that some more but I still need to figure out why it is still breaking up. Getting a coil pack to test this weekend also.

Here are some logs:

You haven't switched from pump gas to e85 recently have you? I know that when switching you need to change your fuel filter a few times until the e85 has had time to clean the fuel system.

So I've pulled the sending unit out 3 different times. I put a different one in with the same 255 and no change. I now just got a new sending unit with a stock pump because I thought the spacer was bad but come to find out they both look the same to me. I have a brand new 255 that I'll be putting in to this sending unit so it will all be brand new and go from there. I'm really leaning towards the AFPR not rising FP with boost.

If the AFPR is bad and doesn't increase when you go into heavy load above 10% IDC why is it staying at low pressure that can't be adjusted back at idle when I check it? Sort of confused with that.

The car does seem to run better when there is a full tank of gas and I don't understand why but I haven't had the car running lately to tell if its considerably different because I smacked a deer but it will be together shortly so I'm trying to get it all done at the same time. Could someone explain that to me?

I have a few friends with some AFPR's I'm sure I could borrow to test out after I try the new sending unit and pump but I'm trying to figure out some of these things so I can more easily diagnose it myself after I test a few things out. It also takes 1 or 2 times to start my car on a cold start and idles around 2k at first and then drops down and then goes to around 1500 but the higher idle is the least of my worries right now because that can be easily fixed.
