Need Help With Starter

I searched and had no luck with this specfic question.

I just replaced my clutch.
And as i'm finishing up tonight, I bolt the starter in and give it a quick go.
It just grinds and grinds.
What I don't get is when it was on there it had one bolt in it WTF

It's a 2g starter with a 6bolt.
So i'm confused as to what I should do?

It was fine before I pulled it out, but now it grinds.


And even before I pulled it it would start but still make a screeching sound
which somebody told me happens with each 6 bolt swap.
others have been fine.

Any advice?

Line it up and bolt it up right and hard, had same problem just needed to be bolted hard and tight, check to see if starter wiggles by grapping and shaking it.

So I did a little more research and I think it's the AWD flywheel that I have.
Apparently 1/4 difference to a gst?

My question, is there a way to get the starter to fit without getting a fwd flywheel?
Because, it worked before hah
