I just got my Turbonetics manual boost controller from RaceCraft. When I picked it up I didn't have a chance to open the box up and look at it. After I got home from work I looked at it. It doesn't look like any boost controller I've ever seen.

I looked it up on the turbonetics website and it says its for external wastegates or dual port actuators. I know I don't have an external actuator. I have a stock 14b turbo. However, I'm not sure about the type of actuator I have. Is it a single port?

The link to the the boost controller I have is here. If anyone could let me know if this will work on my car it would be appreciated.

I dont see the problem.

Take the hose that comes off the J pipe and put it in one port. Run another line to the wastegate acuator and your set.

Make sure that you have it turned all the way down and adjust up from there also make sure you have the fuel mods to deal with the extra boost or you will be like me and go BOOM.

I have seen those boost controller before and I'll tell you one thing: don't trust it! All plastic boost controller won't hold-up and my a$$ it will hold 50 psi and won't even hold for 25 psi. Don't let the 'variable' or the 'dual-port' boost get to you. Turbonetics makes you seem there are ahead of the technology with bullcrap. They make the worst turbos and people don't run dual-port bcs. I suggested you return it and get a simple and cheap boost controller like the Joe P.

What would do with the other two ports on the boost controller? There are actually 4 ports that nipples can screw into. I'm really considering just returning this for a simple one. It is plastic after all and a strange design.

Plastic will not hold up. It cannot take the engine heat and will eventually crack.

But anyways, plug the other two ports with screws if you intend to keep it.

I would seriously return that piece of crap for a much simpler and reliable bc like Joe P, TurboXS or Hallman. Nobody ever uses a variable or a dual actuator bc and truthfully that doesn't make boosting any faster. It's just a load of Turbonetics crap. They can't manufacturer quality items and they'll do whatever to get their items sold.

The two spare ports can be blocked off with the supplied plugs. Also, the boost controller isn't plastic. Just the knob. It appears to be aluminum.
