[RESOLVED] Knocking, not the engine

I was driving 40 in 4th when I hear a hollow like knocking, I imediatly look at my oil pressure gauge and temp, everything is good and then I shut it off. Still making the noise and its kind of rythmatic.

It sounds like when you squeeze a pop can to where there is a crease and you can click it making the pop noise. Thats how it kind of sounds. And it does not do it at idle and does not do it at low speeds.

I had a transmission where the wire clips snapped out that hold the syncro in.... and it made a noise like that....might be something to think about.... i wasnt even being hard on it when it happened

It was a loose half shaft bracket. I jacked up the front and turned the drivers wheel and heard the noise. Ill take a 2 minute fix all the time
