Ok, I've been searching & reading threads on here for a week now to try and figure out this idle problem. It idles rough and has a slight miss...another words on the AFC it shows the idle fluctuating between 10-90? RPM and if I go back to the exhaust and listen or feel it has a slight miss .... like its just not hitting on all 4 all the time.
This morning I decided to unplug the MAF to see what/if that would make a difference and the car immediately jumped about 400 RPM at idle. I adjusted the BISS screw down to compensate, checked the miss at the back of the car and it was nearly perfect...no breaking up. Idle on the AFC also steadied out and would only fluctuate 10-20.
Does this indicate that the MAF is bad? I've read some threads that say yes and others that say no.
I've tested the IAC, replaced TB gaskets, plugs, fuel filter, fresh gas (car has been sitting for 4 years). What other tests can I do?
thanks in advance,
