Well i just got my new motor back into the car and hooked everything up and tried firing her up. It started then shot up to 4k rpms before i shut it off. It was like someone had there foot on the throttle...so what could it be i checked all connectors and such!! the only thing i can see thats not hooked up are two lines...one round small connector by the coilpack...and one four prong connector by the throttle body. I have no idea if or where there suppose to go. Thanks in advance for the help!!!

Checked the throttle body and isc is good....i screwed the biss all the way down and then turned out a full turn. And i just put new gaskets on the TB so i wouldnt think it would be leaking!

happened to me when i forgot to reconnect the vacuum hose behind the intake mani to the brake booster, just double check see if u got a vacuum leak

OH shit...if i dont plug one of the vacuum ports thats not being used... that would be considered a big vac leak right?

Ok well that fixed the revving problem...now just have the normal idle surge for my car. Im gonna do a boost leak test and find out where everything is leaking from! Then hopefully that will fix all my problems....thanks for the quick replies guys!
