I have a 2GB GST.
Anyways I am having some problems with my clutch. I know its not the clutch itself because its brand new with like 5k miles on it.

So the problem is that the engagement point of the clutch is when the pedal is completly released. I literally have to take my foot completly off the pedal for the car to move. Its also not fully engaging. I drove the car yesterday for the first time in a while, to do some tuning and noticed the clutch immediatly so I turned around and parked it, because I dont want to burn up the clutch.

When I parked the car about 5 months ago the clutch worked flawlessly.

I thought about bleeding the clutch, but I know thats not the problem because I've had to do that before so I know what air in the line would feel like. I also know that I do not need to adjust the clutch pedal push rod because again, it was fine when I parked it. The problem is in the hydraulic system and I am leaning towards the slave cylinder, maybe with the car sitting up for so long without being driven caused the seals to go out? (if the slave cylinder even has seals)

What do y'all think?

Thanks alot.

Really bleed the system again. Check the master and slave cylinders (if they haven't been replaced yet, you may want to consider do this at some point). If problems persist, come on back. I'm assuming you broke the clutch in properly when it was new.

I keep the car parked on the concrete and theres never any stains underneath from leaking fluid so I'm pretty sure its not leaking. I'll bleed and see what happens.

That just doesnt make sense.

I put my new clutch in the car and drive it for half a year with no problems and with the engagement point where its supposed to be. Then I park it for a few months. Then as soon as I go to drive it, I immediatly notice the high engagement point and that the clutch is not fully engaging.

Theres obviously something wrong.
