3'' downpipe too long.

my 3'' downpipe from ebay is too long. I have a 2.5 inch catback, a 3'' cat and a 3 inch to 2.5 inch reducer pipe. Does anyone know how much too long the pipe is?

You sure it's meant to be used with a catalytic converter? It sounds like you may have gotten a cat-eliminating downpipe which is longer (by the length of a cat converter) to connect directly to the cat back system.

The down pipe did not reach my catback system. It looks like the downpipe is about 2 inches too long for fitting a converter.

i dont think so. I just clicked the pic of what mine looks like, not neccessarly the one I ordered. I will go get my receipt and see what it says.
The reciept says 91-94 gsx. I guess they sent me the wrong downpipe. I just now noticed.

oh well. its too long and that is why the downpipe was being hit by the drive shaft. I move it over so the driveshaft wouldnt hit it. I just need to custom do the exhaust now.
