ok my 90 talon has a new headgasket and studed the head. now i know that under boost the dip stick poped out so i crimped it. the oil fill cap is new and yester day the tube on the side of the valve cover blew out. the inside of my car filled with smoke. this seemed exesive so im wondering if anyone has run an aftermarket oil cheach contaner. or is there any other ideas :)

ok so im not to familiar with this stuff. i just bought a 94 gsx, the other day, and i was giving my buddy a ride in it and when i stopped i noticed a little smoke coming out of under the hood, i opened it and there was oil all over the top of the hood and on the exhaust manifold, the dipstick was not fully in so im guessing it just came from there but not sure, i just wanna know if thats why the oil came out and if it could have came from somewhere else hoping i didnt blow anything or something like that.

Yes the oil came from the dipstick tube. The rubber grommet on the end of the dipstick hardens over time and does not seal. You could crimp it down, but it would be better if you got a new dipstick.
Reason being if you do not have adequate vaccum to the crankcase during boost, then your boosting the crankcase causing even a good dipstick to pop out. How is your valve cover breather hooked up? Is it still routed back into the intake?
Read this thread, or at least browse it ( I know its long but good info)

ok an update i have a new pcv and i started the car . its has been 4 days and the car wouldnt stay running and smoking out of tale pipe i just move it into the street and died 2 time could i have oil in engen foling out plugs that gets worst under boost ### this car ran great befor all this

Ok , the begining . Miles ? Headgasket , why ? Timing components replaced same time ? Compression test ? Color smoke ? Spark plug gap ? Plugs brand and kind ? Firing order ? Shaft play on turbo ? Any other work done recently ?

OK new 4 ply 400 plus head gasket, arp head stud, new stock head just rebuilt, new timing belt, balancer and tensioner. new spark plugs and wires, PVC 90000 miles. blue smoke had to replace the head because i turn the boost up kept blowing head gaskets. so i had one person look at my head and thay sayed it was fine. reinstalled an didn't get 100 miles before blowing the head gasket. took the head to anther person and the head was fubard the vaves were cut cus the head was 60 under spec. so with new head and arp studs and a head gasket good to 400hp i did the head one more time. car ran grate then winter and the car in storage. now its summer and the car started fine first race and 3rd gear smoke every where. looked under the hood and the tube that is in the side of the vale cover blew out of the valve cover this is not normal is it? thats how oil was all over oil out of the muffler is not good ? maybe i should just sell this car?
