I seem to have found some useful information, but its freezing outside and I don't have the resources here at home to check the TPS Shaft Seals for a leak, but I've felt around and tightened couplers around my FMIC setup.
Problem:
I just installed a PTE60-1 on my 2.3 1G and had a friend tune it at 20psi. Yesterday, I was boosting around and seemed to have develope a leak. Now, when I try to smash it in 2nd or 3rd gear - I hit about 3-4psi (and it pulls accordingly) and it continues to spool up to 20psi, but with NO power in return.
My gauge reads 20 everytime. I logged all params. and did a few pulls, and it seems that while I'm still pressing the pedal down to WOT, Link shows the TPS at 100% until it starts to feel like its losing power -- at which point the Link shows the TPS dropping off in large % increments.
I checked the difference in raw airflow of pulls I did shortly before this was happening and compared it to the same gear / mph and rpm of when this problem popped up:
Before - 4400rpms / 58mph / 1557hz (RAWairflow) / InjDuty 60% / TPS 97%
After - 4400rpms / 58mph / 1931 hz (RAWairflow) / InjDuty 70% / TPS 88%
There you have it. Any help is appreciated. If I left out any useful information, let me know. I'd like to get her to the track with the new setup soon!
