no pressure in coolant lines

okay so i get home and do some logs on link to try to figure some drivability issues im having. I squeeze the coolant hose for the heck of it (i don't know why just did) and there was no pressure what so ever. i cant smell a coolant leak, but i haven't looked to see if there is one either. i pulled the cap off and it seemed low, but the at the same time the overflow was about ready to start over flowing?


anyone have any ideas? is this a leak most likely bad pump etc? i checked the coolant temp on link and it showed it at 210-213*

Either a small leak or a bad rad cap.

if there is excess coolant in the overflow tube i would check the the cap, it would be a place to start and they are cheap to replace.

I don't, either. All you'd do is move water back and forth in the system. The cooling system runs 16psi, which is nothing. Keep your hands off that stuff.
If your hoses are more than three years old, replace them.

i took the cap off my 1g that i knew was good and put that on this morning. when i got to work it had the normal pressure it usually has so the cap seemed to fix it. thanks guys
