1g Logging Problems *no connection*

I've been getting my car back on the road finally. As of now it runs like crap and I need to tune it. I hooked my logger up and I can't get any reading from it.

I took it out and put it in a friends car to see if it works and it worked fine.

I checked and double checked all the connections in my car and it still won't read anything. When I unPause the screen it goes back to pause as if theres no connection. Any help would be appreciated so I can get the car running the way it should.

When I turn the key to ACC the CEL does light up so it is communicating.
