I messed up my transmission and ended up swapping a jdm transmission in that was a 91+ because the guy was a moron and told me that it they were all the same, so I just took my chances. When I installed it, the speedometer cable wouldn't fit in the transmission where its suppose to go, so I ended up taking out the piece in the transmission that the cable hooks into and swapped in the one from my 90 transmission. My question is will this cause me to have incorrect readings on my speedometer? I usually drive faster than people on the freeway, but I'm just paranoid now that maybe I'm driving faster than the speedometer says. Sorry if I was vague, I don't know what the part is called that I swapped in the transmission is called. Thanks

Is there any way that I will be able to notice if the Center Differential is going out without taking apart anything? What about my speedometer? I have drove my car for over 1500 miles with the jdm transmission.

make sure your jdm tranny and us diff have same ratios or bye bye center diff, do a search on how to see if all wheels are spinning at same speed( not in these words).
