So after putting more oil in my car because of a vc leak I now have a squealing problem ONLY while accelerating.. I know this problem generally means the belt is squealing. So what is the most common thing to check.. The belt doesnt look ripped or cracked anywhere but I will check again, should I check the tension? Also, Im assuming the belt I am supposed to be checking is the serpentine belt, right?
The squeal sounds very much like 2 birds chirping, I cant get much more descriptive then that. At first I thought I had spun a bearing since I just put oil in it, but then I realized that it only squealed on acceleration. Could my problem just be that the belt is loose? The squealing is just loud enough to hear over the engine, but it does sound more like a pulley to me but I know this belt can make wierd noises as well.

K thanks bro, Im fixing an oil leak and putting some rotors on today.. Ill do it then.. Thanks for the quick help..
