Lowered rev limiter

Hey guys i have a problem with my car. When idling i rev my car between 3.5 to 4 and the car sounds like its hitting the rev limiter. I rev'ed when idling because i noticed that when i am driving and it reaches above 3k the car feel like it does not really accelerate, it feels like there is really no power.

Mods : Thermal , Apexi GT dp, injen intake, greddy bov type rs, greddy upper and lower intercooler pipping.

auto or manual? that sounds like what I had before I tuned my car but with those mods that doesn't make any sense...hmm...check for boost leaks. When you get to 3k does it feel better if you try to slowly ease into the accelerator or maybe just give it 1/4 throttle or if you mash on it?

Its auto, if i try to ease into it further it sometimes stutters................I am not sure if this could be it could be the lifters one of them being stuck? Because ever since i used seafoam which i believe i put to much of by accident it caused the car not to rev as high.

Where all did you put Seafoam in? What procedure did you follow to do this? Did you change oil and spark plugs after clearing all the Seafoam out?

I put it in the oil. I changed the oil after 200 miles, and i didnt change the plugs till recently again.

You can put seafoam in practically anything. If you don't have a huge boost/vac leak then I would say something is going wrong afr wise or with the tps. Do the test and get back to us.

I have the NGK 7es i believe gapped to .28, the wires were change recently. I havent checked the coilpack but will when i have a chance.
