If im just driving around, and i push the clutch in the rev will drop all the way down but the car will not die. When i rev it up the idle goes all the way down and doesnt die. It sounds like its going to but it just doesnt, the idle is set at 1100 if i dont want to hear my car sound like its about to die i have to push the clutch in around 1400 then it will idle back to 1100 but if its even 1500 the idle will do the same thing. Also, the lights dim when this happens.
Just needing some info if any..

I had a similar problem with my car, get a volt meter and check the voltage at the battery terminals. You may have an alternator problem, the voltage regulator might be going out. You should be seeing between 13.8 and 14.2 consistently at idle. If you are not getting that voltage remove the alternator and have an auto parts store check the alternator.
 
Same problem here. I think it is my actual battery because my terminals look like crap. Getting a Optima before I install Link, so I really hope it goes away. Good luck with it dude.
 
Alright, iv already got a Optima so its already in the car.. Heres a vid that may help u, this was me just turning the heater off, then just turning my lights on and off.. Look at the volt jumps:notgood:

hmm ill get some more videos like.. sometimes it makes this HORIFIC squeek then when it reachs a certain volt it just stops.... its just weird... i wish my car wouldnt act like this!

Anybody got any other ideas besides the alternator? Which i have no had time to take out and get checked.... ?

Oh yeah, I get that all the time. Just don't clutch in too soon. I don't clutch in till about 1.5k and that's only because thats when my car starts to shudder from my flywheel. I am still hoping that this is some sort of problem with the AFC that I have and the tune that is on it because I am about to switch to DSMLink. Here's hoping :thumb:.

The clutch in thing is just to make it livable.
