i haven't seen anything about this prob.

the first problem is in 3,4,5th gear, holding throttle, the engine will start having horrible ignition break-up like all cylinders are firing constantly at the same time. my air/fuel will read 20.0 and flash green. it will stop when i push the clutch and let the rpms down and then let off the clutch. it will run right for about 5-15 seconds and then do it again. this is only in low acceleration or at steady throttle at low rpms. i have tried to adjust my maft, changed plugs, wires, coils, and it still does it. i have heard that 1g's do this with a maft but i am still a few months from a ems.

the second problem is when im running at the track i will reach full boost at about 5,000rpm and the boost will hold for about 2 seconds and then dump. i have tried to turn the boost down and tested for leaks but cant figure out the problem.

what can i do to fix this stuff?

i dont have a dsmlink. i have a datalogger, but the program is corrupted (bought the car with all the work done minus a couple bolt ons). i have noticed that the problem is not as bad since i built and installed my intake (was running open turbo). i will go and hook my car up to the Solas today though and post what i find later on. thank you.

well i checked it out and you were right. there is a flat spot at low rpms and when the car is warm it kinda sticks causing a rough low idle when i go to stop. i'm gonna get a new one when i get paid on the 15th, but is there anything particular that i should get since i have fuel upgrades, or will a stock tps work?

1. Stock TPS will work.

2. Fill out your car profile.

3. Use proper caps when posting in tech sections.

Well, the TPS is shot, I'm having wastegate failure, random misfires, my fuel goes way up or way down, oh and my shifter broke. Bad car day. Assault187, thanks for the suggestion. I found way more than what I was hoping to find, but you got me on the trail. I'm mobilizing this month, though, so I am going to take the car to Abel Racing while I'm gone so it will be fixed and tuned when I get back from Ft. Bliss. Thanks again.

Afterthought.... when the car feels like its nose diving and the boost blows off along with it, is that fuel-cut? When I hooked it up to the Solas, it was showing lean fuel levels (even though my air/fuel readings aren't) and it was also showing wastegate failure. Would that also be related to my TPS taking a dump?
