Can cause oil to burn off making the car smoke right? Well, including that what else might make it burn about 8 quarts of oil in about 4 hours? I've read the other forums and am incredibly familiar with DSMs. But this shit has just got me puzzled. Any help would be amazing.

Turbo seal and piston rings.

thats a little excessive for valve seals unless they are all blown.... or if there not there at all....

are there any other symptoms
Please use proper punctuation and caps.

Any oil leaks under the car, gasket ??
If not I would get a compression tester, they got them at walmart, pepboys.....
You can find the instruction for the test on vfaq.com.
Do you smoke when you boost ? All the time ?

No sense in talking about it.

1. Piston Rings : Compression test, both dry and wet.

2. Valve seals : Boost leak test and listen under the oil cap.

3. Turbo : Check for shaft play and oil in LICP.

Remember, do not assume there is only one problem, all 3 of them has one common denominator, EXCESSIVE CRANKCASE PRESSURE.

Just found out that the dipstick shaft thing is loose at the O Ring. So it's been leaking oil a shit ton. The pistons are forged and was rebuilt (the engine) only 3000 miles ago. When I bought the car I was told it had new rings and valve seals so forth and so on. It has a BRAND new head too. The only time it HAD been smoking was under boost. And very little at start up. It runs real lean too. I just figured that that might be the cause of some of the smoking.

Again, do not assume anything. What do rings, valves seals, turbo and DIPSTICK all have in common, EXCESSIVE CRANKCASE PRESSURE.

Furthermore, was the 3k mile old engine properly broken in? I'm also willing to bet that your VC breather is vented instead of re-routing back to the intake pipe.

No, it's re-routed into the intake. I'm not so much a noob but having a rough week. The recall they had on the transfer cases' just proved to be valuable. Mine locked my rear end up.

And excessive crankcase pressure, IE, dipstick tube leaking causing the smoke and loss of oil pressure AND oil in general.

Seems like it makes sense to me. Anyone else?

(also, oil on front lower left hand side of the frame behind the wheel.)

So, found out that oil on the frame where it is would be from coming out of the dipstick tube where it seats into the block.

Bad valve seals & the dipstick would be the cause for smoking and extreme oil burnage.

The rings and head are brand new. I bought new seals and will replace them as soon as the car is done at the dealers.

THEN i'll do a compression test and see what's up.

Anymore ideas?

Oldman is spot on do the test, I would also like to interject a coupla of things based on my experience.
1. Sometimes the PCV will screw up and allow enough boost to pressurize the crankcase so check it.
2. The base of the dip stick tube should be bolted in place, if it isn't then yes you'll loose a load of oil.
3.I had almost all of my oil seals leaking and it was only smoking some at start up and at take off and deceleration
4. When you do the wet part of the compression test use a tube or something to get the oil to the cylinder wall, if you simply squirt it in the cylinder it will just sit in the top of the pistons valve clerance depressions and not have any effect on the test.
