Ok so out of nowhere my passenger side radiator fan decided to stop working.(the main fan)
And I cannot find the reason. It just randomly stopped. And now my car is running off my AC side fan(that i have hooked up to a manual switch) but tis not getting the job done too good.
Things I have checked:
Relays are good
Fuse is good
Fan is still good ### i tested by hooking the wires straigh to my battery and it still came on
Im throwing no CEL, therefore i wouldnt think a sesnor(engine coolant temp) would be bad.

What are my other options, i cant stand this fan not working, it is 100' here in ID, and my car aint liking it too much.

Is there a possibility the sensor is bad and not throwing a code? And would this effect the fan not turning on?

thanks

I would check the fan wires to be sure they are not broken anyplace. If they are good and you know the fuses & relays are good I would go with a new coolant temp sensor.

I used the wires that came straight off the fan, but i could have a bad wire from the main harness on the car. But it runs straight into the big wiring harness and who knows where to look after that
