Ok the car has been sitting a while (about a year) but i got a new battery and tried to start it. It wouldn't start. tried jumping it wouldn't start. I tried spinning the motor by hand to make sure it wasn't seized up or nothing and it spun. so i thought it was the starter so i took it out and took it up to a autostore and had it check out. The Guy there said it was ok. I then asked to see and i watched it work flawlessly. I put it back in the car and still all I get is a click.

So i went for the starter relay pulled it out tried to start it (yes i know it won't start) but there was still a click (MPI or something?) put the relay back in and listened carefully and there were two clicks so i know the starter is clicking. SO from there i disconnected the the clutch pedal safety thing and still no luck.

I've tried searching on here for some answers (which is how i tried the above) but now I'm looking for some specialized help. So from what I've already done can someone tell me what my next steps should be?

Large battery negative cable should go to the starter mounting bolt - not just to engine or frame. The one click is from MPI relay. Where is the other from? If from starter itself you still have a poor large cable connection problem to starter. If from starter relay (feel it) it should not be clicking at all as it only activates to disable the starter. It only activates by either clutch safety switch or theft alarm relay activating.
