To make a long story short, 2 years ago got a 97 gsx with a 2.4 stroker in it, somehow between Fort Smith Arkansas and here the engine was over revved and destroyed the head, cylinder walls and pistons. After 2 years I finally got the engine rebuilt back to the original spec besides a few small changes. Got it installed and now I cannot get it to start. First problem I found no spark. I replaced the plugs and wires with new msd 8.5mm wires. Now I can get it to sputter on the when I first crank, and then nothing till I stop cranking, try to start again, get a small sputter and then nothing. The fuel pressure is reading 40 psi at crank and all the injectors are firing. I also drained the fuel since the car sat for 2 years with some fresh 93 octane. I also have DSMlink in the car and flashed it with the last ecu config that worked with the car before I bought it. I check the CAS wiring, and since the guy I bough the car from kind of hacked the harness in there I found the wire from ecu to the crank shaft angle sensor was not connected into the cam angle sensor like it should, so I traced the rest of this harness and verified the wires are connected in the right spots. I was wondering if anyone has any input or ideas to try. If more information is need please let me know.
