Hi i have been trying to fin out for a while i have a rod knock in my 2g 7 bolt end or as they say crankwalk. I have a really good top end for my 2g 7 bolt but the bottom end and block is pretty much shot. Will i be able to put my 2g 7 bolt top end on a 1g 6 bolt bottom end. And if i can how much work will it require and such. becasue i found a rebuolt 6 bolt 1g bottom end and wanted to see if i could do that.

Thanks
Will

Yes you can bolt them up. You will have to drill out the holes a little larger to bolt them together. I am doing the same setup with my car now.
You will need to follow the steps to install a 6 bolt engine in a 2g tech guide.
Here is the link: http://www.magnusmotorsports.com/tech/1gina2g.pdf

If you search around on here by typing in "6 bolt swap", you will find endless info on a 6 bolt swap.
It doesn't seem to be too complicated to do. Just time and research, and a little bit of money for random parts. Good luck.
