Ok so here is the new plan and I need some thoughts on all of this. First off I bought a real boost gauge and can now read my boost acurately. I get 9psi on account of I have an evo3 wastegate actuator installed(Long story) and I am just hardwired into that bypassing the BCS. I have a Walbro 255 that I have jsut been running rich with but now I am awaiting a MBC and a Fuel Pressure Regulator I ordered. So what would be optimal boost set at to avoid fuel cut? 14? and what fuel pressure do you guys recommend for the whole setup?

Next I planned on rebuilding the whole engine with my tax money ect ect, but I really want to spend some money on other stuff and since its not bad I was wondering what you all think I should do. It does burn a bit of oil and the valve cover seal is bad so that needs to be replaced. Was thinking instead of whole expensive rebuild I could just replace valve cover seal, timing belt and maybe change the head gasket. Replacing Valve cover seal would most likely fix oil burning. The car has 160k on it now though and maybe you all think I should just rip it up and make it new before it poops on me. Just wondering since it doesnt have any problems and I dont RACE it around or anything it is just my daily driver. I have been known to run at a stoplight occasionally or jsut drive it hard for the thrill of it but only for a short while and then back to regular stlye but its not a race car and I baby the little thing rediculously. In my situation what would you all do or what have you done or what you think, jsut looking for opinions here to decide what is best. Thanks everyone and thanks for the help with all the other problems the car has had so far :) :dsm:

If you're still on the stock fuel injectors then yes keep boost to around 14-15 psi.

Set your base fuel pressure to 37 psi. That is the value when the vacuum line is disconnected from the FPR.

If your car is burning oil out of the exhaust then replacing the valve cover gasket will not alleviate this. But if you are leaking oil from around the valve cover the gasket set is only around $40-50 and easily done.

Regarding what to do next you may want to start with a compression test to help determine the "health" of the motor. Unless you have reason to believe that there is a problem with the head gasket there is really no reason to replace it unless you are planning on running really high boost (mid 20's or more).

If you haven't already done it I would upgrade to a larger exhaust system.
