High Idle

I replaced my fuel pump on my 97 n/t and when i turned the car over everything seemed fine. I took the car for a drive and i noticed when i would be getting to a stop the car would be idleing at about 2k rpms. It seemed that the harder i breaked the car would idle higher. Also the car would buckle when i would let off the gas quickly...any suggestions?? thanks

I dont know if it has anything to do with the installation of your fuel pump but heres a few websites that can help you with your idle.
