Today I had a guy I know check my compression since I really dont know what to do with my car anymore.
Between this 1494 code and now I have this new p0303 code that keeps coming on all the time. Car seems to run fine, but the CEL is bugging me.
the numbers came back as 155,127,43,131.
I dont know alot about this stuff, but I know that 43 cant be good :toobad:
I cant see any water in my oil or oil in my coolant.
I have no smoking going on from the car, so I dont know whats up.
If the head gasket is blown or if its the valve.
Anyway, if anyone has any ideas please let me know.
This thing is dpressing me all ready. I'm gonna have to start saving some money to try and fix this thing again I guess. :barf:

If you aren't really smoking then it looks like you may have burnt/bent a valve. Did your car jump timing at any point? Also did he do the test with the throttle to the floor and with all the plugs out. Did he do a wet test as well to see if the numbers came up any?

the way he did it was he took out all the plugs and then he put this gauge into each place where the plugs go. He also unhooked the coil.
Then he had me put the pedal to the floor and crank the car.
He did that for each one. THats all he did though.
I dont know about the timing though
