NEED HELP! From DSM GURUS!

I am having a problem when I shift into reverse and start moving backwards my the shifter all of a sudden pops out of reverse making a loud GGGGRRRRNRNN. And then I have to push the clutch in and put it back into reverse. To all of you DSM Gurus out there what could be the problem?? THanks

Make sure the shifter is adjusted properly so that when you engage reverse the reverse idler gear and slider are engaged fully.
