 first off, i know there's alot of thread on this already, but they aren't too clear. i searched for a while but everything pointed to either ECU or CAS. that said, here's the story: finished engine rebuild in my 90gsx, put it in w/o powersteering or A/C. when to startit up but would only crank. i have good spark and fuel to the rail. there is no injector pulse in any injector at all. ecu looks ok to me, no bad smell are obvious leaks in capactors. car ran before rebuild, now it doesn't do shit. the injectors themselves work ( put battery power to them and they open/close) but no power in the wires. is there a plug in the wiring harness that i missed? i found a couple grounds that aren't hooked up but i can't find where they clip onto, also my knock sensor isn't in yet. any help/advise would be great. thanks!

Do you have the injector ballast (current limiting) resistors hooked up (on middle of firewall)?
Also how do you know there is no injector pulse? That pulse is too narrow to read anything with a voltmeter (it will always read 12-14V on both sides). Only with a scope or a noid light can you tell. But if you don't read more than 12V you definately have a power problem there. Be advised one side of the injector should have +12V through the ballast resistor and the other side is pulled low for the pulse width duration by the ECU (when it fires).

Hey I just swapped an engine in my 1990 laser and had/have the same problem. Part of my answer was the resistor pack has the same connector as the throttle pos. sensor/ idle speed motor, I had them switched. Plugged it in correctly and now injectors #2 and 4 are working, but not #1 or 3. So if anyone knows what to try let me know.
thanks

Mitsubishi seems to take great delight in making several connectors which interconnect.

A good rule of thumb. Mark where your plugins come off of. Another one I see occasionally see is pulse generators and shift solenoids on the auto transmissions are switched and the trans won't work.

Mark your plugins.

Good Luck

Mine has a manual so that wasn't a problem, but the starter solenoid and cruise control also share same style connector.
