What could be some possible causes of a clicking noise when the clutch is engaged. This happens when driving and when not moving. I am quite sure the noise is coming from the transmission area. Car drives fine but i dont want to continue to drive like this. I guess i will pull the trans soon. Just wanted some ideas to help me know what to look for. I did replace the clutch and tob recently and did not have the money to change anything else. I know this was wrong but what can you do when your on a tight budget. Also, it had no noises for about 500 miles. Thanks.

Have you dumped the clutch recently? After doing so, my tranny was making a clicking sound shortly before the differential blew up. Just a thought. :tease:

No i didnt dump the clutch! I have been being very careful and just trying to get everything running like it should. Would like some real advice. Thanks.

Sometimes the underdash linkages will make some noise.

Get under there and give it a push, else, you may be hearing movement of the um..... crap, cant think of the name.... clutch fork?
