Need Electrical Help Please!

Hey guys

i need some help very badly on my 1990 eagle talon tsi awd
my car is having a major issue, what it is doing is when you go to start the car the starter sounds like its going insane with grinding noises and ect well after the car does start the ignition fuse under the hood is blowing shortly after it starts. Well i figured the circut that starts that turns the starter over inside that cyclinder was blown so i then jumped the starter the car started for a second then blew the fuse again

please help!! i am at my witts end.....the car is totally ripped apart so i can go check wires if any one has any insight

It sounds like your starter is shorted internally.

Remove that starter and have it tested for shorts. If it's ok, then you will need to do some electrical diagnosing. Let's see what the starter turns out to be first.

As old mitsu tech said pull the starter and have it checked also look for corroded/shorted wires on the starter.

Also inspect the flywhweel and starter teeth for damage. (Grinding)?
