Hey guys... my car wont start. I drove it to work, then when i was leaving later that night, it wouldnt start. On the way there, i punched it in 3rd and it seemed to bog down a little, but then seemed ok a min later. The starter cranks over and everything sounds ok... but it still wont start. Really all ive done with it so far is check the 3 fuses by the positive battery terminal, and pull the hose off my fpr and try to start it to see if any fuel would come out... and none did. Im thinking fuel filter. Any and all suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!!

If a filter went bad, more than likely you would get some fuel, just not enough.
When you turn your key on, before cranking it, does the fuel pump activate? It has to be really quiet to hear it sometimes.
If not, then check the appropiate fuse, then diagnose further to see if the pump is the culprit.
If it does click on, then check the fuel rail, not the FPR. At least if it's what I think your checking, fuel doesn't go throgh there...
But before all of that, I'd check to see if you got spark first.
If you have spark, spray a little either into the air filter or directly into the intake. She'll try to turnover if fuel is the problem. Then check your fuel system.

Good luck!:thumb:

I listened for the fuel pump and couldnt hear it. It's a walbaro 255 fyi. This is kind of a dumb question but which fuse goes to the pump? I dont have a cover for the one thats under the dash:notgood:. The hose i pulled off the fpr was the return hose... i dunno if gas should come out of that or not. Ill pull the end off the fuel rail later and see whats up. Thanks!

Im not sure on the rewire, but ill find out. Which fuse is the MPI fuse??

The pump is rewired. The fuses checked out to be fine. I tried to change the fuel filter, but absolutly could not get it off LOL. I sprayed it with WD-40, so hopefully that'll loosen it up a little. Any other ideas besides fuel filter/pump?
