car run nices till hard on throttle

i been drivin my 1g on the easy side lately ### its almost track time. so today im feelin a little squirlly and decide to get on it. 1st gear all the way through good, 2nd gear all the way through good, 3rd gear i mash on it and the car chokes for a second and then proceeds to go. the same treatment in 4th and 5th . what could cause somthing like this to accur any info would be greatly appreciated. good plugs, wires, coil. Could this be boost leak?

I see you have an MBC. If you are running a high boost without more fuel, could it be fuel cut? Were you hitting full boost in 1st and 2nd?

my mbc is set at 15psi and thats what im peaking at in first and second but third seems to be at more like 16 to 17 . ive been keepin the down for off track use

Seeing higher boost in higer gears is normal because their is more exhaust flow as the engine is under heavier load. Check your system for boost leaks. See if your system can hold 20 psi for 30 secs before the gauge starts to go down. If you don't find any leaks, take off your 710 cap and see if you can feel air leaking. If so, either your valve stems, your rings, or pcv valve are leaking. Also, what is your vacuum at idle?

I have the same exactly problems with my car, 1st and 2nd gear fine... however 3rd 4th and 5th shaking and bucking... did anything work for you? thanks
