Just one quick question......I just ordered a intercooler hard piping kit that is flanged for a Greddy BOV and I have a 1G BOV. The flanges are basically the same, so will it be a direct bolt-on, or what needs to be done?
thanx guys,

No, they will not line up. You will need to cut off the Greddy flange and weld on a 1g flange. You can get one from www.slowboyracing.com for ~$20 shipped. If the piping is aluminum, I'd recommend getting a shop to do it because aluminum is a pita to weld. Is this an ebay kit?

It's a kit that I bought from a guy on here. It's basically just like exhaust piping with bends made where they need to be. The flange was just welded onto the piping. He said that it was a Greddy flange, so I take it he ran a Greddy on it. But it looks almost identical to the 1G flange. I am going to get the rest of my parts tomorrow and will have a 1G BOV and will know for sure then if it will work. Looks like I might just have to drill new mounting holes for the BOV base to mount to, but that's it. If not, I'll modify the flange that is there so that it will work like I need it to or just make a new flange all together for it.
thanks man,

I don't know how well that will work. The holes for fastening on the 1g BOV are further apart than the Greddy BOV. This website will show you the difference between the 1g BOV and the Greddy one. These pics show him re-flanging a 1g pipe for a Greddy BOV, but they should show you the difference.

It works the other way around unfortunately. I have a Greddy Type S on a 1g flange. I just drilled 2 new holes because the Greddy isn't as wide and it fits perfectly too. A 1g bov is wider and you can't use it on a Greddy flange.

Yea, i don't know, the flange on this thing might be wide enough....it's pretty big. If not, I'll hack the flat-top off and reweld a larger top onto it and drill my hole to mount a 1G BOV onto that. But thanks for the link, it really helped put things into perspective a little better. I'll just have to actually get the BOV in my hand to know for sure, but I'll make it work and NOT LEAK:D !!
thanx man,
