It's a Pinhole leak. Right behind the power steering pump...the hardpipe that sits right below the valve cover on the front. It's basically the coolant pipe for the Lower radiator Hose that wraps around and goes into the engine I believe.

Right where it makes the 90 degree bend there is a black o ring type seal/gasket there...thats where i'm leaking from. It drips slowly at idle and during load it is fine...but when I shut the car off it POURS out of the pinhole and puddles quickly.

I don't have a picture but I was hoping someone knew WTF I was talking about...and how hard is it to replace the o ring/seal?.

It isnt that hard to change, just takes some time to do. You have to remove the lower housing where the hose connects to. There should be a few bolts holding the pipe to the block. Once you remove everything the pipe should slip out, may take a little force though. You should not have to remove the turbo.

You are referring to the O-Ring seal that connects the water pipe to the water pump. When was the water pump last changed? Usually that seal is replaced when the water pump is replaced so if it is bad, you might also plan on replacing the water pump if you don't know when the last time it was done.

That o-ring is often installed incorrectly which results in leaking. Replace the o-ring in the crossover inlet pipe by putting it on the pipe end first, coating with coolant, and then insert pipe with o-ring into water pump – do not put the o-ring into water pump first as it will not seat properly and will leak. Always replace with a new one.

Seems there were NO BOLTS holding in the Hard pipe to the motor so it backed out and leaked...Slapped on a new seal and put a bolt in there and she purrs like a kitten.

Thanks for the help fellas.
