SMIC question

How hard is it or will it work? Im wanting to put the 1G SMIC on my 2G because of availability. I have searched all over but cant find clear answers anywhere. All ive gathered is that the inlet angles are different. Oh, and im wanting to run my hard 2G piping on the upper part. Please help all info is appreciated.

I don't really understand your question, what is wrong with your intercooler now? why would you wanna use a 1G? what do you mean availability?

I need a new one, and by availability im saying there is one locally here in boise, idaho but it is a 1G.

Just check e-bay, there always seems to be a 2G intercooler for sale there, at least you will know it is a direct replacement, If I am not mistaken, the 1G intercooler is just alittle bit different.

you could always go for a little extra work and put a supra smic on there. works wonders.

Well the reason he is asking is because the smic is local and he can get it today. Not wait 5-7 days. Anyway, if the angles are a tad bit to the right or left you can always get some length of silicone hose and just clamp your hard IC piping onto it there.
