Toronto,
I have a 92 Talon turbo fwd. My problem is that every now and then my car stumbles and the CEL comes "on" then goes "off" after a couple of seconds. No codes and it stumbles or hesitates really hard. Also when this happens I hear a clicking from pcm and my a/f gauge goes crazy. Any help would be deeply appreciated. I forgot this only happens when I'm doing about 110km to 140km.

Check the ECU for leaky caps. Also check the coil pack to see if the resistance across the coils is within spec.

I don't know what to look for and what the specs would be for the coil packs. Also this only happens once or couple of times and it doesn't do it again until car is shut off and engine is cold.

The specs are in the manual (you have one, right?) The whole only-doing-it-when-hot thing sounds familiar. This happened to me many years ago. As the car and ECU warmed up, the electronics would fail. When cold it was fine. I had the flashing CEL as well. When I finally captured the code, it was "code 44, ignition coil," which can mean one of two things: a bad coil or, for some reason, a bad ECU. Check/replace your caps!

Thanks I'll try that. I noticed that when it was doing it I hear a clicking from the passenger side, and also it backfires.

Thanks Nukefission it was my caps. I replaced them and now the car runs great. Again thanks for the help.
