If I put a 2g MAS on my 1g, will I need to use an AFC of some kind?

Zach, I respectfully disagree. if memory serves, 2G MAS flows up to 31% more than 1G MAF and 550s flows 18% more than 450s. Will it run, yes, but like improper BOV venting and running 255 w/o afpr, not recommended. Do it right the first time.98eclipseRS said:^^^yes you could just throw in a 2g mas and some 550's and be fine.

I know what you mean, just making sure it wasn't mis-understood as the right thing to do as your opinions are well respected on this site.98eclipseRS said:Bruce, I 100% agree with you I should have put but instead of however. I'm just saying that it will work maybe not the best but it worked in my 1g when I had it. I then got an safc for it soon after but between that time and the time of the installation of the afc it worked to get me around. I have learned over the years from owning many a dsm that its better to just spend the bucks and do it right the first time.
