To start off a week or so ago I got a check engine light that came on. I never got it checked out but I figured out my car was having trouble idling would go from 500 rpm to 1200 rpm and then occasional spikes to 1500 rpm. I checked out all of the vacuum hoses found one that was partially off so i put that back on and it helped for a little while then it came back. Found out it was one of the harnesses wasnt plugged all the way in. Immediatly having plugged it back in the idle surge stopped but now my idle is stuck at 1200 rpm. Figured it must be the BISS and that it had backed out. Finally looked the other day and saw the screw in there so I decided i would try adjusting it, one turn (and nothing extremely hard) the damn top of the screw broke out. Now I have to figure out how to get the damn thing out. But my question is, is there anything else that can be making my car idle so high?? Thanks.
