Got A Stupid Electrical Question!!! Need Help!!!

Ok, i just recently installed a apex turbo timer(which for some reason isnt working right now) but while it was working it would turn off and on everytime i hit the breaks, the same thing is happening with my buddies 90 tsi. accept whenever he brakes the lights, his turbo timer and his cd player all turn off and then turn on real fast. we cant figure out what the problem is. if anyone has had similar problems please help out. thanks

my best advice would be to check a) the connections, and b) make sure that all the pin outs are in the right location. It is possible for brand new stuff to have wiring issues out of the box.

Check for a missing ground, and check your battery voltage. If your alternator isn't doing well or battery is dying, the radio and small electronics can cut out while braking.

I had the same problem, I took it somewhere around town and they said i had one of the connectors for the timer in the wrong spot. I would doublecheck the wiring for it.
