Well for some reason one day my car just starts running pretty crappy. It was alright the day before but then it felt like it lost a bunch of power. I also noticed that when I was idling occasionally my s-afc would say the throttle was going between 0-2% when my foot wasn't anywhere near the pedal.

Well... I decided to check the plugs and they all seemed fine but the 3rd cylinder plug had oil on it. So I suppose a piston ring could be an issue towards this problem. So I put the plugs back in and started up the car with a new set of plugs I had. The car started to run like absolute crap. It was stumbling at a somewhat constant rate and it idled between 800-1500, the s-afc again said the throttle was being touched when it wasn't. I decided to do a compression test in the third cylinder and it was fine but when I unplugged the MPI for the compression test I noticed the fuse had busted but it was still touching metal somehow. So I put a new fuse in with no results.

I decided to see if the plugs were all sparking. So I took them out one by one and they all sparked except the third cylinder had a very weak spark if any at all. I know it's not the wire because I switched the wires and I still had the same problem. I guess that points towards the coil pack... But does this seem like a reasonable coil pack problem? Another thing, since the 2nd and 3rd cylinders spark at the same time if I made some kind of device so I could connect the 2nd and 3rd wires to the 2nd cylinder's coil pack spot would that be ok to test it out?

It would be easier to just purchase/borrow a new coil pack and go from there. That would rule out the most sensible issue in this case.

Yeah I think that's what I'm going to have to do. I already replaced the last one because it messed up. The car definitely seems like it's running a cylinder down.
