I have searched the forum and have not found the answer. On Saturday I started to do the simple mod describe as a stage 0 and 1. I did as instructed. I removed the Negative Battery cable. I then removed the BCS Restrictor. I then installed an Injen Short Ram Air intake kit for my 1997 GST. Everything worked fine. I Monday I was driving the car and all of a suddent the check engine light goes on. The check engine light has never turned on my car before. Could this be because of the removal of the BCS restrictor or because of the Air intake? Or could it be something else?

You don't remove the BCS without a boost controller. Go get the codes ran at a local auto parts store and post what they are.

According to the Tech guide of this website it stipulates the following "Step 7: Remove the BCS Restrictor If you do not have a manual boost controller, you can safely up the boost about 1-2 psi by removing the restrictor in the boost control solenoid.

As said, get the codes read. We're not going to play "Guess What?" when the real answer's five minutes away from you.
If you pulled the BCS from its electrical harness and didn't re-connect it, that will throw a code. But we've been lured into these snipe hunts before.
