I've been experiencing a misfire that only occurs while autoXing on on high G load corners. It never misfires under any other conditions. There is no knock when it happens, o2 values are normal. It feels just like hitting the rev limiter. Any one have any ideas what the cause might be?

If the problem occurs only on high-G lefts, you might suspect the fuel simply sloshing away from the pump intake. If you grab an in-cockpit fuel pressure gauge and remote, you can keep an eye on it. If that's the problem, you might consider a fuel cell, or carrying more fuel on your run.

I thought of this as a possibility because the first couple of events it happened at I only had about a 1/4 tank of gas. At the last two events I was at a 1/2 tank and it still happens. I'm trying to remember if it has happened on a right turn, I know for sure it happens on left turns. I logged a few runs the first two times it happened and the wb o2's all seemed normal, wouldn't I be getting knock or seeing high af ratio's if it was fuel starvation? Theres one more event this year, at it I'll make sure I have atleast 3/4 of a tank of gas. I hate getting gas anywhere expect my normal gas station.

Make sure your battery's positive terminal isn't making contact with the strut bar or hood.

I relocated the battery to the back, there's nothing for it to make contact with and I have the whole terminal covered in electric tape. I will check to make the the power cable hasn't chafed and is makeing contact some where.
