My tach isn't working correctly. I have a motor swap in a mirage (4g63t) and a cluster w/a tach. I had to get the tach signal from pinout #21 on the ecu, and also run a ground to the back of the cluster, the tach worked fine until a few days ago.
Now, the tach always reads zero and occasionally will "bounce" to the correct RPM when I turn on my turn signals or when I first turn on lights.
Any suggestions? all the connections are good I've even re-connected the wires. Any Ideas? everything else electrical seems ok. Except last week, my temperature guage was very shaky and would sometimes drop to cold when I knew the motor was warm.
