lately my clutch has been slipping if i push it close to full throttle, the rpms just shoot up w/o much accelleration. The wierd thing is that this clutch is supposedly only a year old(I bought my talon a little over 1 month ago). is there any way to tell whether the clutch is fixable or do I just haveto replace it? air bubbles? Any ideas about how to fix it or other possible reasons its slipping would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Air bubbles in your clutch line wouldn't cause that. Your clutch is always engaged until you press the clutch to disengage it. Chances are its on its way out and will need to be replaced with either another stock unit, or an upgrade.

The only other possibility is that your clutch rod is adjusted so far out that the clutch is never fully engaged, but if this is just a new problem I doubt that is your solution.

Also if it was an adjustment issue wouldnt it do it all the time and not only under full throttle situations. I agree the clutch is probably going out.

it just seems weird that the clutch would go bad after being driven for a year and only about 1500 miles. since i bought the car, i havn't even driven it hard much because ive had other problems. could it be a bad fly wheel?
