here what i have just installed a walbro 190 new wires new plugs boost set at 13 pounds, just did a boost leak test leaking from top of intercooler the rubber hose fixed that no more leaks. so here is the prob i live like 45 miles away from work and on the way to work or home about 3/4 of the way there the car starts to buck cruising at 75 like fuel is cutting out if i go wot it goes away once i start to cruise again it comes back doesn't matter how fast or slow if i hold the pedal steady it'll buck, but after the car cools down it takes a good half hour for it to start doing it again any help would be great hate driving the car like this thanks guys happy boosting
 
What kind of plugs did you install? What are they gapped at?

How old are your spark plug wires?

During your boost leak test, how much psi did you put into the system and how long did it hold it for?

Do you have a Check Engine Light?
 
i have brand new ngk plugs gapped at .28 and brand new accell 8.5 wires. while i was do the leak test i went to 20 psi it started to fall off after like a minute and no i don't have a check engine light. any ideas what u think it is???
 
Plugs are good, boost leak test is good, gap is good.
Usually the bucking your describing is due to poor ignition.

Has there been any recent maintenance done to the car? When is the last time the transmission was serviced? If AWD, when was the last time the differential was serviced?
How are the caps in the ECU?
Have you changed your fuel filter lately?
 
its a front wheel drive car, it has a new trans new clutch new fidanza flywheel and new axles, the first thing i checked was the ecu whene it started to buck its fine looks brand new also put a new fuel filter in it last month. i noticed something today whene it does start to buck there is a strong gas smell from the rear of the car, but it only smells whene it start to buck around or misfire, and if a only drive it for 10 15 minutes there is no smell i looked all over there no leaks anywhere i even dropped the take to check the top nothing so i don't know what it is. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1) check are your ic connections. make sure everything is tight
2) it sounds like your car is miss firing

do you have a longer?
i know this is stupid but did you hook up you plugs in the right spot :sosad:
 
Check the vacuum lines go to and from your fpr solenoid. Make sure they're in good shape.
 
changed the fpr lines they were good but i changed them anyway since i had some laying around still have the same prob, anybody got any other ideas???????????????????
 
Do you still have a cat? If so it's possible that it may be clogged. Take it off and bang it with a hammer to dislodge all the gunk that may be built up in there.

Go and run your car until it starts bucking and sputtering. Pull off to the side of the road and shuter off. Then start pokin' around with a multimeter and test your Coil Pack.
It's possible that one or more of the circuits in the coil pack is going bad when it's hot.

Did this problem just start happening or has it been going on for a while now?
How many tanks of gas have you gone through and experienced the problem?
