White smoke??

Well the other day my car started blowing out white smoke out of the exhaust it only does it sometimes and not all the time what could this be??

We could use some more information as to when this happens. If it's only when the car is cold and warming up, it's likely water vapor in the exhaust burning off. If it does when warm and under acceleration, it could be a head gasket leaking. The best way to find out is to run a compression test and post your results. Also, let us know if the car is using coolant and if you see any coolant on your dipstick when you check your oil.

Sorry it seems like it does it when the car is warm but its only sometimes and it doesnt smoke when i drive it just when its warm and idleing

I think it's still vapor burning out, but go ahead and do a compression test anyway to ease your mind. Also, keep an eye on your coolant levels and let us know if the motor's using coolant. I'm thinking you're good to go, but check on those two things anyway.

alright ill do the compression test within the next couple of days and then ill let yah guys know how it turns out......thanx for ## guys help

It's possible that it could be valve seals. Let us know how the compression test goes.
