Power Steering Belt Help

After enjoying some tasty shrimps at Joeys, i hopped into my car and started an heard a weird ticking noise coming from under the hood. i opened it up, and to my surprise, this is what i found. it seems the power steering pump itself or the bracket is bent or ####-eyed. heres some pics, DSM guys chime in if you have any ideas, prolly gonna go buy a new belt tomorrow cause this one is looking pretty beat, sux that its only a week old.

The Harmonic balancer/crank pulley is probably separated.

The pump is cocked. When you replace the belt, tighten the 2 front bolts through the pulley and then you need pry the pump around a little and then tighten the bolt on the manifold side. I just did this tonight on someone elses 95 awd so it is still fresh in my memory. I actually stuck a screwdriver through the u in the ps return line at the pump and pulled it in line that way. Just be careful that you dont kink or break the line if you try it this way.

I disagree. If you look close, the pulley alignment is definately off. I have seen it a few times on a 2g with the thin sheetmetal ps pump bracket.

Old people often get the alternator and ps belt messed up, they're also not very good at looking at pictures on the internet either.

I posted this on another forum and one guy says i have the wrong pulley on my PS pump. Can anyone verify this for me? He says it is supposed to be a single groove pully.

If you car was a 1g then he would be correct, but you have a 2G so that is the correct pulley. Make sure they line up correct and then make sure you put it on the pulley all the way. I have seen some people but it on just off by a rib and it gets torn up right away.

Thanks guy, I'm gonna go grab a new belt today and get a big 'ole pry bar and see if i cant persuade it to go straight.

I've seen some sites that could fix that.
