afc problem....stuttering, cel

the car is a 90 gst , mods are open airbox and 3" turbo back, car ran great before afc instal. now its throwing a cel and feels "stuttery" when im on throttle. also when i 1st start it up now it wants to stall but catches itself and then idles normaly. when searching the only help i can find just talks about the orange / pink wires but they are correct. any other ideas? i cant check the cel til later in the week. the afc was used so before starting the motor i did the "clear all" then set it for kar.should i have set anything else? thanks in advance.

Check your spark plugs after you get the AFC wired in right. Make sure you're using the right plugs and that they're gapped correctly.
