car will nit start

my car a 1990 eclipse 2.0 turbo will not start no clue why. the other day i way playing with it and the exhaust came loose on the down pipe so the people i bought the car from just cut the rest of the flex pipe out and put a like 2 1/2 inch pipe over it and clamped it down but it leaks and i do not like it. but i was playing with it and it came loose and got really loud and i hit the gas to find out where it came loose from then i found it and shut the car off the next day when i went to move it .the car would not start at all it would just turn over. i was wondering if there is any wires under there i might of took loose or melted
the exhaust is stock 4 now . and if there is any way to make the car start faster

If it came loose at the flex section, there is no wiring in that area to burn or come loose.

Have you done any maintanence to the car since you got it? (timing belt, plugs, wires, etc)
I would also pull the ecu and see if the caps are leaking. If that checks out, check to make sure it is getting fuel and spark. If that checks out, time for a compression test.
