I have a GReddy FAT and need a little help determining the countdown time needed to sufficiently cool down my turbo and not have my engine running unneeded, with gas prices near $3 a gallon. On auto -L- on the drive to work in the morning, 30 miles on the freeway at 65mph, it counts up to 5 minutes. Then on the way home it will only count up to 25 or 30 seconds and then back to 0, it will be at 0 when i pull in the driveway at home, this makes no sense to me. I have been manually setting the time to 4 minutes, but i am not sure if this is long enough. Any suggestions

haha i have the same one.. i just let it do its thing.. time does seem kinda high but i like to baby my turbo.. on trips to pick up my g/f from her house it would have about 7minutes.. it monitors the rpm and adds the seconds after it hits a certain mark.. i forget what rpm it was but i dont know if you can change it.. ive always wanted to change the color from blue to red :thumb:

im not sure about HKS, but on apexi you have to tap into the front o2 and thats what it bases its timing off of. id imagine its the same for HKS. make sure its tapped into the right wire.
